Our group of 6 friends on holiday in Paros ( September ‘20 ) rented this type of boat online, in Aliki, to explore the coasts of Antiparos and Despotiko. None of us have got a license to drive a boat and we had deliberately looked for a license free boat, without a skipper, to be more autonomous and also for a matter of costs. I must say that the price for daily rental is very interesting, especially if it can be divided into a large number of people. They say this type of boat can accommodate up to six people but although we are not boats experts, we have found it more suitable for a small number of people since the space to settle comfortably inside is rather limited. Ouch!! Remember that the price of gasoline is paid extra on the way back but the tank is not very ample. Consider that Aliki/Antiparos South crossing takes about between 30/45 minutes and then we limited ourselves to exploring the south/west coast of Antiparos to Agios Georgios and part of the south coast of Despotiko till Libadi beach and back and the tank was almost completely empty. Certainly the consumption of gasoline also depends on the sea conditions, which we found quite calm in the morning and decisively more rough on our way back (force 3) , moving it up from 18:00 to 13:00, precisely due to the deteriorating sea conditions foreseen for the afternoon. I must say, however, that the guys who rented the boat gave us a good lesson on how to drive it by making us do test rides with them inside Aliki port.
