Katerina and Yannis are a very kind and welcoming couple. We were surprised to find we were the only two booked on the afternoon trip but they still took us out for four hours anyway. We went swimming in the warm sea and after one circuit round the boat, I think Katerina realised I wasnt a strong swimmer and threw me a noodle float so I was able to stay in the sea longer. After that we dried off in the warm sun and enjoyed sailing in the beautiful scenery of Elounda, eating some snacks and drinking their delicious white wine. Just before we returned, they took the boat close to Spinalonga so we could take some photos.Thank you Katerina and Yannis

Spent an amazing 4 hours with Katerina and Yannis, visiting little coves and swimming in crystal clear waters. It was a bit choppy to visit everything today so we just spent longer moored up in a secluded bay. Lovely local snacks were included in the price as were drinks. Did a full circle of Spinalonga too. With only another 5 adults and a baby on board it really felt like a private cruise. A must do if in Elounda.

Fabulous four hour afternoon! Lovely relaxed boat trip. We hired the boat privately for four families, 13 people in total. The booking process was simple and the trip from start to finish was fantastic. Yannis and Katrina were friendly and helpful, the snacks were more like Mezze which was an extra bonus. Thank you so much for taking special care with the kids! They all loved it. Definitely recommend this trip! Highlight of the holiday.

Booked the morning trip with the hour stopover at Spinalonga. Much better than the larger cruises as we were with just two other families. Felt like our own private boat. An hour for Spinalonga was just about right, giving you enough time to walk around the island. We were then collected and taken to two secluded bays to enjoy the crystal clear waters. At the second bay Katerina prepared us a delicious meze with plenty of wine & drinks. I would highly recommend this trip to everyone. Katerina and her husband are perfect hosts.

Absolutely fantastic day out with the family, stopping off in some lovely turquoise blue waters snorkelling and jumping off the boat. A fantastic lunch was provided and our hosts couldn’t do enough for us they were brilliant with our two girls (15&13) who said it was the best day out they’ve had on a boat(we’ve done a few) I wish them every success for the future.

Had a fantastic trip on the boat today with a 3 year old boy and 10 year old daughter . Katrina and Giannis were absolutely brilliant with everyone . The locations they took us to were out of the world to swim and snorkel. The food was very good as well. 10 out of 10. Thank you very much

Best day of the holiday !! This trip was organised by my in laws and was the beat day of our holiday! Tour started right on time and stopped in some of the most beautiful spots to swim and enjoy. Food was fresh and delicious, and couldn't get enough wine and beer. Katerina and John were amazing hosts and couldn't do enough for all of us on board. Would highly recommend them and their tour, not to be missed if you're in Elounda !!

The Best boat trip in Elounda. We were recommended Rofos Boat trip by a member of the family and so glad we took their advice because as soon as we stepped aboard we were greeted with open arms by Katerina and John and noting was too much trouble, we stopped at some very beautiful places to swim in Crystal clear blue water, the food was without a doubt excellent all cooked by Katerina. We had the most fantastic trip and will be joining them again, would highly recommend Rofos if you are looking for an exceptional boat trip.

An excellent way tour see many Greek islands and secluded bays. Beautiful crystal clear waters so swim and snorkel in. Great hosts that prepared a wonderful Greek lunch for all on board. I would recommend this trip to anyone of any age. All equipment provided by Katerina and all safety equipment clearly accessible. Great trip today thanks guys.

Went on the Rofos Boat Cruise last year which was their first year. This year was better if that’s possible. Swimming, amazing food, drinks and fishing, all included. Katerina and John (with a little help from their lovely young children) were perfect hosts. We felt like part of the family. Thanks so much for your hospitality xxx

If you want to get away from the crowds, enjoy homemade Greek food, and support a lovely local couple, all at a very affordable price, this is the cruise for you. Katerina & Christopher took us on an afternoon cruise on their lovely, fully equipped fishing boat. We enjoyed views of Spinalonga, and the local coastline. We stopped at two secluded coves to swim and relax, and be served wonderful Greek food, homemade by Katerina. Wonderful Greek hospitality.

Sunset Boat Trip. Amazing time we had at the sunset boat trip! Including snorkeling, diving,swimming and an exceptional view of Spinalonga Island! We even got some home made food and wine and eat in front of the lit up island! Our hosts where so nice and did everything to make us comfortable! Highly recommended- and only a small group and not the tourist spots to swim!

Excellent Boat afternoon. We had a wonderful late afternoon boat tour. The owners pointed out the points of interest as we passed Spinalonga on our way to a quiet bay for some swimming in the sea. They provided a delicious lunch of traditional homemade Greek food and wine. I would highly recommend an excursion with Katerina and John. They were very attentive and made sure we enjoyed our afternoon. A delightful trip and well worth it.

Great boat trip - avoid the big boats locally and book with these guys! Friendly with great service, easiest way to book is through messenger. Lots of time for swimming and snorkelling. Great value too!

Cannot praise katerina and crew enough. We had a 4 hour trip with an hours stop at spinalonga. They were so friendly and great with our 13 and 6 year old girls. Stopped at 3 lovely bays for a swim in the beautiful oceon. Katerina made a fabulous lunch for us. All homemade. If you go to elounda on holiday please book this trip. Much nicer than the larger boats. Fabulous.

Just back from an amazing day with guys from Cruise Elounda Rofos. Would highly recommend them, took us to some lovely bays to swim & took time in the water with the kids from the other couple of families who were on board with us. The lunch spread Katerina put on was superb & as a veggie I was very well catered for. Thank you from Adam & Katie (a Birthday treat to remember!)

We have just got back from our boat trip with katerina and yannis. We had a wonderful time and our children loved it and the food was amazing! Thanks to Katerina and Giannis for a wonderful cruise. Yesterday we privatized the boat for our group of ten and had an amazing time on the boat. Katerina and Giannis took us swimming and fishing in little coves that you cannot reach by car. We were touched by their kindness especially towards our kids. We also had a very enjoyable lunch on the boat. We highly recommend booking with Rofos cruise!

We booked for a 4 hour afternoon trip. We had the most incredible time, swimming in crystal clear waters in hidden coves. Even my 4 year old daughter went into the sea! Katerina and her husband John was the most wonderful host, they gave us history of the island and well as cooking up a fantastic home cooked feast with wine! Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will be highly recommending you.

Family friendly day with a stop at Spinalonga and a couple of stops to swim and relax. Finally a bonus stop to swim into a cave with a personal tour from the captain. Family run business, competitively priced and the hosts were brilliant. We`ve done a lot of boat trips whilst away and this was among the best. Highly highly recommended!

Booking was really easy and they were very responsive. We turned up at the agreed time and only paid after the trip. The boat is captained by John With his wife Katerina Helping. They were the perfect hosts and such lovely people. We stopped for swimming in three locations - all stunning and John took us for a swim inside a sea cave - fantastic. At one stop Katerina said it was getting busy with other boats so they took us somewhere more private. Again, the waters were crystal clear and stunning to swim in. Another highlight was when John swam to some nearby rocks to find handfuls of sea salt in the rock pools. Katerina prepared a beautiful, fresh lunch for us. It was all homemade and so tasty (and there was so much of it). It was washed down with a couple of glasses of crisp white wine (homemade by one of Katerina’s Friends of course). Throughout the trip we were served drinks while John and Katerina would point things out, take pictures of us or just let us chill out, listening to the music. My 14 year old son didn’t feel much like swimming during the day but John won him over by asking him to drive the boat on the way back for ten minutes. He loved it and it was so kind of John to give him the experience. The trip is fantastic value and the personal touches provided by John and Katerina were really appreciated. We were so glad that we chose Rofos Boat and will definitely book a trip with them next time we return. Thank you John, Katerina and Chris.

Lovely trip. Well maintained boat. Amazing homemade food plus wine. Perfect hosts. And a lovely evening dip in the sea, it was still lovely and warm.

We loved every minute of the evening cruise. Lovely homemade food and much more than I expected. The sea was much warmer than we thought it would be too, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening dip in the sea.

We went today. Family of 4. We booked last night. There was only one other small family as well. We were taken to Spinalonga, then cruised around to some gorgeous secluded swimming locations. Crystal clear water. They have some floaties and swimming masks you can use if you didn’t bring any. 4 hour trip. Perfect amount of time with kids. A delicious homemade lunch, wine, water, soft drinks and fresh fruits all with a personal touch. We loved it so much! Thank-you to Katerina, John and @Christopher James Truly perfect.

We do a boat tour on almost every (water) vacation and this one was lovely. In Elounda we found Rofos thanks to the TA reviews: family run, hand cooked personal lunch, great swimming stops, sweet and kind people. All low key. Wonderful for a group of 10-12. I would even pay for a private tour. You can’t go wrong supporting a local family.

I booked this trip as the boat was moored just up from my accommodation. My sister and I had a wonderful cruise with the lovely Katerina and her husband Ionnis.They are a young couple who take pleasure in their job. The food and drink supplied was all homemade and as soon as I said I loved Raki, Katerina suddenly appeared with a bottle. The boat holds about 24 but luckily there were only six of us on board which made it like a private charter. The family on board with us were great company. Please give Katerina and her hubby your try, you will not be disappointed.

Thank you Katherine for 3 fabulous trips. Wonderful Cretian hospitality at its very best. It was so good we came back again and again. We had such a great time - if you’re in the area it’s not to be missed. Thank you again.

4 hours cruising and swimming in the beautiful sea off Elounda and around the island of Spinalonga. Katerina and John are the most delightful hosts who make you feel like friends. We had great company with us and were only 6 onboard. You anchor up and are treated to home made snacks of salad cheese pastries melon etc and some scrumptious biscuits and bread baked by Katerina. A trip not to be missed

Katarina and Yannis are fantastic! We had trips that were tailored just for us and nothing was too much trouble. We saw the beauty that Crete has to offer, swam from the boat, dropped off, picked up and the hospitality outstanding.

This was the best way to spend four hours on a Sunday afternoon - the crew, John & Katerina were brilliant and the trip involved three stops for swimming along with a stop to look at salt forming in the rocks at one point and a full circuit of Spinolonga Island and then there was the food & drink - a full meze of home made Greek dishes along with a plentiful supply of local wine followed by desert of cinnamon apples & coffee! I cannot recommend this enough - if you are in Elounda go and do it - they do two trips everyday and it is the best value on offer!

We have just finished an amazing trip with Rofos enjoying the hospitality of Katerina and Giannis (John) where everything was taken care of for us. We had the boat to ourselves which was a shame as it should have had more people enjoying this experience so I would recommend you to try it out. Also to the Rofos crew they still ran it with just the 2 adults and our 2 young children. Talking of that they were very helpful and the boat is so kid friendly out 3.5 and 1.5 year olds loved it. Katerina and Giannis were fantastic with them and they have made beat friends. During the trip we were well fed and watered with local delights hand made by Katerina, local wine and soft drinks all free flowing and offered whenever you want. The trip itself we were offered whatever we wanted to do as normally they stop at Spinalonga but with the young kids we decided against this. Instead Giannis and Katerina gave us a tour round some of the more remote areas, stopped as many times as wanted to swim and relax plus pointed out things such as the fort architect name and date on Spinalonga to a drive by of our hotel from the water! What an amazing trip, one of the best boat trips I have been on and definitely the best in Europe! We will be back and will recommend you to everyone.

As a non swimmer I couldnt think of anything I would rather do less than go on a boat, but oh how wrong I was!!. This was the best thing we did on our holiday. The hosts Katarina and John are so friendly and welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area. I absolutely loved being on their boat. It's a good size with plenty of seating. There were 12 of us on the trip, a real mix of people and different nationalities and the group got on really well. The food was amazing, all home cooked by Katarina and there is so much, you will not go hungry. We stopped the boat a couple of times in quiet areas so that people could swim, snorkels also provided by the hosts. There were 2 small children on this trip and they were very well cared for. It was a lovely afternoon and when we returned in the early evening I didnt want to leave. Dont let the extra 5 minute walk from the main harbour put you off, this is worth the few extra steps. Such lovely people providing a great service. It felt so much more intimate and personable than the big ferry type boats in the main harbour which look over subscribed. I cannot recommend Rofos boat enough, it was fantastic and we will definitely be going back on our next trip to Elounda. Would recommend for adults and children.

Katarina and her husband are extremely friendly and after a bit of boating stopped il us for swimming in a small crique. We then have been treated with Katarina’s own cooking meze, wine and soft drinks. Frankly the ambiance was great and very friendly. This being a small boat we were a party of 12 and we all felt like family. If I could rate 10 stars I would !!! Sorry David I beat you to it !!!

We just returned from a week in elounda and our time with Katarina and Jon was the highlight of our trip. They went above and beyond our highest expectations and I recommend this as a must-have for anyone visiting here. Katarina is a phenomenal captain who takes pride in her work and puts love in to her food which was all homemade. The tzatziki and homemade fresh bread was the best in Crete. We were all to ourselves on a beautiful boat with lovely company. We were passing boats packed with people and I felt bad for them as we were getting VIP treatment at a amazing price. I highly recommend this, I cant stress this enough. We got an hour and a bit in spinalonga and then a 3 hour private tour and swimming spot to ourselves. Its truly a gem. John and Katerina, the owners of this lovely clean and comfortable boat are so friendly and attentive to making sure you have an enjoyable time they made our 4 hour trip a highlight of our holiday. The scenery was beautiful, sailing close around the historic island of Spinalonga was amazing and the stops to swim off the boat was great fun. They also provided absolutely delicious homemade Greek snacks. Without hesitation I thoroughly recommend Rofos Boat for an enjoyable time their fabulous hospitality.

We went on an evening cruise leaving at 6pm from the harbour in Elounda. We knew we were in good hands when one of the crew dived into the harbour before we set off to rescue my husband`s prescription sunglasses! The crew were helpful throughout and there was a lovely relaxing atmosphere on the boat. We were served wine, beer, soft drinks and small snacks, pastries and fruit etc. We stopped just in front of Spinalonga and were able to swim there for as long as we wanted, steps down into the water so didnt need to dive if you didnt want to. They threw out floats for us to use. There were changing facilities on the boat to change out of wet clothes. It was a lovely journey back seeing the coast lit up at night, we arrived back 8:30pm. Nicest evening of our holiday, happy to recommend

This family run boat is amazing, the owners are the nicest people you could wish to meet and work hard to make sure every trip is enjoyable, They will adapt the the trips to suit your party as well as offering regular afternoon / evening trips. We have been on both full moon cruise and evening boat trip around spinalonga and were able to have a night swim. You must go on Rofos if you are in Elounda We are looking forward to our next trip !

I went in a day trip with Rofos Boat, katerina and her family who run the boat were very nice and i felt greek hospitality in the max ! I enjoyed the small traditional boat with only few people , in comfort and a lot of space to relax ! The trip was excellent , the sea and the beaches beautifull, i enjoyed every minute !!

We have been on Rofos a few times now and each time the guests all gel and a great fun atmospher is had by all. We have been swiiming at night, cruisng the island of Spinalonga and Kolikitha, snokling and or just taking in the sea air. Some snacks and drinks were privided and bespoke cruises are also on offer. Lovely boat owned and run by a lovely young family. Its a "must do" when in Elounda

We had a fantastic day out with Rofos boat cruises.The crew couldn't do enough for us.we were taken to some beautiful beaches, we stopped for a dip a couple of times and we were offered an abundance of fruit, snacks and refreshments which were included in the price.Would definitely recommend it.

These boat trips are very well organised. All of the crew .make you most welcome and make sure each trip is adapted to your needs. The trips for swimming or relaxing are excellent plenty of sightseeing also plenty of time just to relax or swim out in the bay in Crystal clear waters. Also supplied on the trips are local food fruits and wines. These trips are a must for anyone visiting Elounda and you will never be disappointed as you are all made to feel very special and welcome.

we are a party of 11,4, 40 something adults and 7 kids from late teens to 2years. what can I say absouloulty fantastic a true highlight of our holiday,Katrina and her crew made us feel so welcome genuinely nice friendly people nothing was too much trouble the drinks and snacks were plentiful,the views and senery stunning.we had a 4 hour trip if we had not had the younger ones with us we probably would have stayed all day. i would not hesitate to recommend the hire of Katrina and the boat absouloulty brilliant worth every penny.

Thoroughly enjoyed a spinalonga trip with these guys, only the 2 of us on the boat they waited an hour and brought us back to Elounda. Would have loved to do the fishing and bbq trip but had run out of holiday ( maybe next time) . I wish them every success
